When it comes to reading, many people react in a negative way. Why? Well, maybe some of them have been exposed to experiences throughout their lives that have negatively affected them when confronting a text.
Some of these experiences can be traced back to their school days; some others, to their high school, college or university days. What is important here, my friends, is that the act of reading is not anything else but the act of writing and so, it is an act of creation and of production. Consequently, it does not have to be seen as something boring or something with no fun or life at all.
When reading, our imagination is activated and our whole life background participates in a new act of creation. It is in this precise moment that the reader plays the role of god by giving birth to his or her own charaters, settings, and situations which no one else is going to create.
Let us find the ways to enjoy the sacred act of reading. Let us find the roads through which our imagination can move on. Let us create our own worlds... let us start enjoying the act of reading.
